As of May 1, new rules for entering Bulgaria are in force. This will be done with a certificate for a vaccine against K-19, a document for overcoming the virus or a negative test – PCR or antigen.
For K-19 survivors, the document is recognized if no more than 6 months have passed since the infection. A list of the types of antigen tests that Bulgaria recognizes is published on the website of the Ministry of Health.
From May 1, people arriving from India, Bangladesh, Brazil and countries and territories in Africa are temporarily banned from entering Bulgaria.-
Exceptions are Bulgarian citizens and persons with the status of permanent, long-term or long-term residence in our country and their family members. However, they are subject to a 10-day quarantine.
