Video showing Toll Gates (GT) Pejagan, Central Java is closed, viral on social media. It is stated in the video that vehicles from the direction of Jakarta to Semarang cannot cross the Pejagan GT.
Management of the Kanci Pejagan Toll Road has clarified that the video circulating is an incident last year. GT Pejagan when it was closed because there was a 2020 Eid homecoming block.
“That the news circulating in the public regarding the blockage at the Pejagan Toll Gate has already started is a video of Eid al-Fitr in 2020,” the management of the Kanci Pejagan Toll Road in a written statement to journalists, Saturday (1/5/2021).
Toll management said the traffic conditions on the toll road Pejagan at this time smooth. Currently, there is no barrier for homecoming.
“The current state of the update until this clarification is released, at the Toll Gate Pejagan traffic flow conditions are still normal without any insulation, “he said.
The lockdown at GT Pejagan will only be carried out during the homecoming prohibition period, which is May 6 to 17, 2021.
“The plan for blocking activities at the Pejagan Toll Gate is in accordance with the results of the meeting with Dirlantas and cross-sectoral Central Java, which will only be carried out on May 6, 2021 to May 17, 2021,” he explained.
In the viral video, the Pejagan Toll Road Gebang is closed with a barrier. Several officers were also seen standing guard around the toll gate.
A number of cars seemed unable to cross the toll gates. Several cars going to the toll gate were stuck in front of the toll booth.
There are also those who turn around the vehicle. In the video there is a voice saying that the toll road is closed.
“The toll road is closed, the direction of Jakarta has been closed, we will turn around, everything has been closed, please inform my friends. The direction of Jakarta to Java is closed, Jakarta to Semarang is closed,” said someone in the video.
