Kuczmierowski about the planned Monday deliveries
The president of the Governmental Agency for Strategic Reserves, Michał Kuczmierowski, announced on Sunday the planned deliveries of vaccines in the coming week.

We also expect delivery of 67,000 vaccines from AstraZenka and about one hundred thousand Johnson & Johnson – said President Kuczmierowski. He admitted that, according to declarations provided by the producers, in the coming week, deliveries will be around 1.1 million lower than previously planned.

He explained that 268,000 vaccines from AstraZeneka were to arrive on Friday, and 67,000 on Monday. This week – as he indicated – 800,000 more vaccines from this manufacturer were planned, but they will not be available. Kuczmierowski also said that there were to be around 200,000 vaccines from Johnson & Johnson on Monday, and there would be around 100,000.

Smaller deliveries
The information on the reduction of supplies was presented on Saturday by the head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister and the government’s plenipotentiary for vaccination, Michał Dworczyk. However, he said smaller deliveries would not affect the registration process. The registration of two years each day starts on Monday – April 26 for people aged 46 and 47.

Dworczyk also assured that the administration of second doses of vaccines was not endangered. He also declared that people over 60 years of age can still find out about the possibility of accelerating the date of receiving the preparation.

Polish patients receive four COVID-19 vaccines. Preparations of the companies Pfizer / BioNTech, Moderna and AstraZeneca are two-dose. The formulation, developed by Janssen Pharmaceutica NV, a Johnson & Johnson pharmaceutical company, requires a single dose.
