It is already preparing activity for the next Children’s Day as every year, this time they will go to various neighborhoods of the city to deliver sweets and toys reminding children that although we are still in a pandemic there are those who remember them and they and they will not stop let the day go unnoticed, said Alejandro Romo García, executive director and legal representative of the foundation.
“Due to the issue of this new disease, it has been very difficult every day since the children do not go to school, they spend it all day at home, unfortunately or fortunately the children are no longer like they used to use toys now everything it is for video games so what we are trying to promote is that children can have toys and not an electronic device ”.
“It is important to give them this small detail that is going to be given to them since our life has changed as a result of the covid and it would be like a small detail that the day will not go unnoticed, but that we know that we are out here and we want to keep them in mind ”.
It will be at the end of this month when they go to the various neighborhoods of the city such as: Loma Bonita, November 20, Francisco Villa and the Agua Escondida neighborhood where they would go in the morning, at noon Villa de Guadalupe, Márquez de León and for the afternoon La Pasión, La Pitaya and Invi Chametla.
“Previously we held an event in one or two schools in La Paz, when there was no pandemic, we brought the children what was food, piñatas, and some toys, since last year and now this is due to the covid, which we do is deliver toys and bags of sweets to the children but we do it directly at their homes in a caravan, knocking on doors to find out how many children are in each home ”.
It is planned to deliver toys and bags of sweets to a thousand boys and girls from various popular sectors, until today it already has almost the total of a thousand toys and they ask society to join in the donation of sweets to end the bags since So far they have the sum of 350 bags and they intend to reach the goal as with the toys.
