Less garbage:Icking should get cleaner
Instead of Ramadama: the community calls on residents to collect campaigns

The community of Icking should become cleaner. That is why the town hall there is currently addressing all residents, especially kindergartens, schools, associations and parishes. “This year’s district-wide Ramadama campaign has to be canceled, the garbage unfortunately remains lying around, and it has been more since Corona,” explain Mayor Verena Reithmann and her deputy Claudia Roederstein (both UBI) in a letter. Therefore, residents of the Isartal community are now required. Under the motto “Sauba Icking” they are supposed to collect cigarette butts, plastic waste, bottles, crown caps and the like, every time they walk, every dog walk, every outdoor exercise. All that is needed for the two mayoresses is this: Before going out, you have to remember to pack garbage gloves and a bag or a bag – “and off you go”.
The collected bags should be deposited and photographed in front of the front door, on the path, on the street or in the forest. These recordings should then be sent to the community of Icking (to [email protected], Whatsapp 01 73/71 41 539, or to [email protected], Whatsapp 01 520/240 66 58, for larger amounts of waste to stephan.burlein @ icking.de) and be provided with names, contact details, the collection location or even a reference to a garbage hotspot in the community. Participants may also be able to provide a declaration of consent that the photo and name may be published on the municipality’s website. The deadline for submissions is the end of June. The congregation is giving away gifts to everyone who takes part.
