Check out the filthy Warhammer underground in Necromunda: Hired Gun

In an underhive, there is never a shortage of jobs for a bounty hunter.

Streum On Studio – known for games like EYE: Divine Cybermancy and Space Hulk: Deathwing – continues to work on his next game Necromunda: Hired Gun, as released June 1st. They have released the majority shorter movie clips with a focus on different weapons in the game, and now we also have a slightly longer trailer that gives us a look at the game’s environments.

Necromunda: Hired Gun takes place in an underhive – the lower parts of giant “hive cities” where several billion people can live. And here we are talking about the Underworld with a capital U, because if you can imagine a crime, you can give a damn that it is committed there, even if “crime” is an arbitrary concept in a place where gangs are the ones in control. It also means that there are lots of missions to take on if you are an unscrupulous bounty hunter, and that is exactly what the game revolves around.

The jacks you pull in can then be spent on, among other things, weapons and upgrading your cyber mastiff – yep, a mechanically improved jock that helps you in the battles and that you CAN CLAP. The game mechanics are fast and action-oriented, and bring to mind games like Doom.

If you are quite eager to play something Warhammer-related right now, you can take advantage of the free weekend for Vermintide 2. More info here.
