Mr. & Mrs. Most people remember Smith as a film that brought Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt together. In addition to film partners, they have also become life partners. However, this did not have to happen at all, because completely different actors were originally supposed to appear in the main roles.
Substitutes whose lives changed their meeting
Instead of Angelina Jolie, Nicole Kidman and Catherine Zeta-Jones were to play in the film, and Will Smith and Johny Depp were to appear in the role of her husband. In the end, however, everything turned out completely differently, and the fate and rejection of the above-mentioned stars eventually contributed to the unforgettable meeting of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. The fact that the two main characters fell in love not only on the screen also contributed to the fact that before filming they had to spend quite a lot of time together during various special courses. These were to help make the assassins act as credible as possible. You can judge whether this is really the case many times while watching a film, because the action is definitely not missing.
Life is not a movie
The film became very successful, the audience appreciated the unusual plot, the exciting plot and the attractive film couple. In just the first three days after its release in American theaters, the film earned over fifty million dollars. For a long time, it seemed that even the main characters Jane and John, or Angelina and Brad, would not be divided. The actor divorced his wife Jennifer Aniston very quickly and began living with Angelina.
Over the years, they have become parents of six children, three own and three adoptive. In 2014, after years of urging children and waiting for the public, they finally got married. A small private wedding took place at their Miraval castle in France. Unfortunately, unlike the film, their private lives did not end up such a happy ending. Two years after the wedding, the actress filed for divorce, which came into force in 2019.
