The 35-year-old drove his car on the Holzleitner Gemeindestraße in Höfen and at the level crossing there drove onto the track in the direction of Braunau. At track kilometer 22.6 he finally got no further and fell asleep in the car.
The railway line was immediately closed to train traffic by the emergency service. The fire brigade pulled the car off the tracks, and the train traffic could be opened again at around 9:40 p.m. The handlebar is displayed.
