Girl (12) abused in Helmond for TikTok video | Inland

A woman who happened to pass by intervened and called the police. The 12-year-old victim has a concussion, many bruises and a bump on her head as a result of the abuse. She also suffers from anxiety and nightmares, the police say. The five girls, aged 11 to 13, have been arrested and are later told what punishment they will receive.

On the Facebook page, the Helmond police describes what must have preceded the incident. A few weeks ago, the 12-year-old girl posted a video about her friends on TikTok. After a while she saw that a hate account had been created about her as a result of that video. She wanted to meet with the girls behind it to talk things out. But at the agreed location on Noord Parallelweg, the victim was met and almost immediately pushed and beaten.
