Help was called shortly before noon. The victim was severely injured in the hip, after impaling himself on a steel bar protruding from the foundations of the basin under construction.
The metal bar cut before being able to take the victim out of the pool
The firefighters had to cut the metal bar before they could free the 30-something from the pit into which she had fallen. The young woman was rushed to hospital with absolute urgency.
A gendarmerie investigation was opened to determine the exact circumstances of the victim’s fall.
