Berlin – June 28, 2020 was a bitter day in the history of Dynamo Dresden. Thousands of supporters had opposed the Corona requirements and gathered in front of the home stadium. With firecrackers and fan chants, they wanted to support their team on the last matchday of the 2019/20 season, on which the fans and team not only had to say goodbye to their club icon, the sports director and former goalscorer Ralf Minge, but also to the second division. After a 2-2 draw against VfL Osnabrück, the relegation of the black and yellow was sealed.
