Mainland China reported nine new cases of COVID-19 on Friday, all imported, the National Health Commission said in its daily report on Saturday.
Among them, three were reported in Shanghai, one in Jiangsu, one in Guangdong, one in Chongqing, one in Sichuan, one in Yunnan and one in Shaanxi.
Three new suspected cases arriving from outside the mainland have been reported in Shanghai, the commission said.
No new deaths from COVID-19 were reported on Friday, she added.
