AKURAT.CO, One of the popular iPhone 13 rumors is that Apple will introduce a 120Hz refresh rate to the device. Given that Apple has been pinning this capability on the iPad Pro for a long time, many are wondering why it took the company so long to bring the feature to the iPhone.
While some rumors claim that only certain models of the iPhone 13 lineup can feature an LTPO display, analyst Ross Young has a different opinion. According to Young, there will be more than one model that can come with LTPO display technology.
Currently, rumors claim that the 120Hz LTPO display will be exclusive to the iPhone 13 Pro Max device. However, if Young’s claim is true, almost the entire range can get this screen technology. While it’s likely that 120Hz won’t be available in the entire lineup, the Pro model is open to using this more energy efficient display technology.

Initially using an LTPO display was thought to help offset the potential energy drain from the 120Hz refresh rate, but it turned out to be more efficient than thought.
The iPhone 13 will come with a 120Hz refresh rate and use an LTPO screen. The LTPO screen is claimed to produce 15-20% lower energy consumption compared to the iPhone 12.
Instead of the display using a fixed refresh rate of 120Hz, the use of an LTPO screen will be able to adjust between a lower speed to a higher speed depending on needs.
