EA makes F1 2021 in twenty countries twice as expensive as predecessor – Gaming – News

Either I read that table completely wrong, or you go wrong here anyway. If we take your example of the Argenteinse Peso by it.

F1 2020 there was 649.99 in Argentinian Peso. That represented a dollar value (at that time) of $ 7, making the game in Argentina 88.33% cheaper than the dollar price in the USA.

F1 2021 will now be 3599, – in Peso. That represents a dollar value of $ 38.81. This makes the game 35.31% cheaper in dollars in Argentina than in the USA.

So this is indeed a huge price increase for Argentina, not only in Peso, which may have decreased in value, but also in the comparable value in Dollars. So they do come to the value and do not just keep their purchasing power, but increase it enormously, per game sold in Argentina.

Take Argentina as an example, EA is just making the game cheaper there while they implement a price increase of 454% in the local currency
the game is therefore not made cheaper, it is made much more expensive. It is still cheaper in dollars than in the USA, however less cheaper than before.

and then you have to lose the 454% local currency value
The local currency has therefore not decreased in value by 454%, which would be the case if the price in Argentinian Peso had increased by 454% with an equivalent value in Dollars unchanged.

Argentina does indeed get a discount on the absolute value in Dollars that is charged in the USA, but this discount is suddenly much smaller than before. In this comparison, that has nothing to do with the devaluation of their currency, but with making the game relatively more expensive in Argentina.
