Paying for a house that has been acquired is one of the challenges that a large part of the people of Salamanca must face.
But have we ever wondered what is the average mortgage being signed in the province of Charra? And what monthly payment corresponds?
A report prepared by the Tinsa appraisal society reveals that Salamancans are among those who less total amount they pay, well below the national average and a little less than the regional average; Thus, the average amount of mortgage loans signed in the fourth quarter of 2020 amounts to 94,998 euros in the province (20th in Spain), Under average of Castilla y León (99,209 euros) and very far from 135,759 euros of the national average.
At the regional level, above Salamanca are the provinces of Burgos (116,135 euros), Valladolid (104,359), Soria (100,197) and León (96,792).
For its part, as regards the monthly fee, Salamancans must face a payment of 438 euros, the regional average being 457 euros and the national average, 599. The area of Spain where the most is paid for this expense is the Balearic Islands, with 850 euros, and the one that least is Jaén with 327 euros.
Another data that Tinsa refers to is the percentage of family income needed to pay the first year of the mortgage after the purchase of the home, which in the case of Salamanca is 17%Lugo being the area with the lowest number (14%) and Malaga the one with the most, with 27.6%.
Finally, the cost per square meter in the province amounts to 1,129 euros, for 1,425 euros in the capital.
