Twitter down: Social media app crashes, leaving 40,000 people without access | UK


It is believed that around 40,000 users have experienced issues.

The company tweeted, “The tweets may not load for some of you.

“We are working on a problem and you will be back on the timeline soon.”

Twitter users started reporting issues shortly before 1am UK time today.

Reports from users suggest they were unable to log into the app while others said the tweets were not loading.

Monitoring website Downdetector.com tracked outages between 12:48 p.m. and 2:03 a.m. from a range of sources, including user-submitted errors – and suggested that around 40,000 users were affected. .

One user wrote at 3:02 a.m.: “Twitter is still down for me so I can’t read anyone’s tweets, but I guess you’re saying nice things about me.
