Passion for makeup
Passionate about makeup since her childhood, Emma Simon naturally went to Rebberg high school after college. Now in her final year, she is preparing a professional baccalaureate Aesthetics, Cosmetics and Perfumery which allows him to discover all aspects of the world of aesthetics. While makeup, care and waxing hold no secrets for her, the theory is not forgotten.
“On a theoretical level, we learn everything there is to know about the muscles of the body, the biology and the layers of the skin. It is important to understand the functioning of our main work support, the human body ”Explains Emma Simon.
An exemplary journey
Motivated by the desire to make a career in the field she loves so much, Emma wished to participate in the competition for the Best Apprentice in France. After a preselection phase, it was with talent that she won the departmental, then regional competition. Becoming the only gold medal in Alsace, she was able to access the national competition. It is finally in Paris, in the premises of Make Up For Ever, that she made the creation on the theme of the seabed and submarine which earned her the title of best apprentice.
“To meet the criteria of the theme, I chose to do a navy blue makeup with glitter, a seahorse at the level of the eyebrow and some corals on my model, Lina Lefebvre. For the neckline, I drew a wreck buried in sand, fish, seashells with a gradient of blue and sun rays in glitter, like a reflection on the sea! To get this result, I had to train a lot. I spent several hours a day in high school, then I continued at home in the evening”Says Emma.
A future all mapped out
Although she is still in high school, Emma knows precisely which path she wishes to pursue. She thus hopes to be able to integrate a BTS Esthétique in Strasbourg, before joining a school of make-up. Appreciated for the beauty of her achievements as well as for her unparalleled precision, there is no doubt that Emma will find a way to meet her expectations, in the world of artistic make-up.
