Codemasters confirms July 16 as the release date for game F1 2021

The new official Formula 1 game F1 2021 will be officially available July 16 for current and last-gen consoles and PC. Manufacturer Codemasters has announced this. A release date in mid-July has been buzzing in the corridors for some time and those rumors turned out to be true.

Codemasters has a few more details about it F1 2021 disclosed. For example, there will be a new game mode, a storyline called ‘Braking Point’. The player must then work his way up to the top of Formula 1 on the basis of a story via Formula 2.

Another new feature is ‘Real-Season Start’. It allows the gamer to sort of break into the current Formula 1 season and virtually follow up on reality. In addition, Codemasters introduces the possibility to complete a career with multiple players, with or against each other.

At the launch of F1 2021 the circuits of Imola, Portimao and Jeddah will still be missing from the game, because those tracks were added to the calendar at a later stage (Imola and Portimao) or because it is a new circuit and the details were not yet known (Jeddah) . These circuits will be made available later through an update.
