In February 2018 came the shocking news that Jennifer Aniston (52) and Justin Theroux (49) had gone their separate ways, and that they decided to file for divorce at the end of 2017.
After being boyfriends for four years, the star couple got married in August 2015, and they were seen by many as one of Hollywood’s most solid couples. But only two and a half years after the wedding, it was over.

Now, three years after the breakup, Justin Theroux is shedding light on how their relationship is today.
– I would say we have kept the friendship. We do not talk to each other every day, but we see each other on FaceTime. And we text each other. The two exes met in 2008 during the filming of the movie “Tropic Thunder”, where Justin wrote the script for the film together with Ben Stiller (55). It was the latter who introduced them to each other. Two years later, they played against each other in the film “Wanderlust”, and hot feelings must have arisen.
In the interview with Esquire, Theroux says that “we can not be together and still give each other joy and friendship”, before bragging about his famous ex-wife.
Jennifer adopted Dolly in 2006, five years before she and Justin started dating. However, he quickly took on the role of dog owner, and when she died in the summer of 2019, he hurried from New York to Los Angeles to give her a dignified end to her life.
In a post on Instagram, he also shared heartbreaking photos from the funeral.
