Wi-Fi Signal Radiation Trigger Cancer? Kominfo: Not true!

JAKARTA – Although various efforts have been made to eradicate hoaxes, this false information continues to circulate on social media. All kinds of misleading information are still milling about for various purposes.

Responding to this, the Ministry of Communication and Informatics (Kominfo) confirmed that the information was not true.

Kominfo explained, cellphones do work with a radiation system or more precisely radio waves. However, there are no studies that confirm cell phone radios can cause cancer.

“In fact, there is no clear evidence that says this,” explained Kominfo, quoted from its official Twitter account, Wednesday (14/4/2021).
