Domaine de Lafromentière, located in Saint-Côme, will have to pay more than $ 2,000 for violating the Dam Safety Act.
On January 26, 2019, the company, being the owner of a dam in Saint-Côme, failed to comply with ordinance number 666 taken on April 19, 2018 by the Minister, thus contravening article 33 of the Dam Safety Act.
The Domaine de Lafromentière company was then ordered to pay a fine of $ 2,000, in addition to legal costs and the contribution. On March 10, in connection with this offense, the Court of Quebec ordered the company to comply with Ordinance 666 no later than December 10, 2021.
