The beta version of WhatsApp appears with a new function perfect for the most clueless users. We will have a new type of alerts for when we are mentioned in group chats.

WhatsApp can be an impossible chaos to control when several notifications are reaching you at the same time. You try to concentrate on work and after a while you have more than a hundred new messages in the group of friends with various open topics and without being able to quickly know if some of those messages were addressed to you.
Thanks to the Beta version of WhatsApp we know that the company prepares a function with which to more easily detect these mentions. It’s about the version 2.21.8.8 in which WaBetainfo has detected a new type of warnings.
Until now, and until the update is formalized, when a user is mentioned by writing their name with @, that person received one more notification, along with the rest that are coming to you. The message could be lost among the other mobile notifications, but when entering the application it is not indicated that, within all those messages that your friends have sent, there is a specific mention.
This will change, if WhatsApp decides to approve the function after the beta phase. Inside the application, on the wall of all chats, you will see a new notice. The @ symbol next to the numeric symbol that indicates the number of messages new messages you have, so WhatsApp will tell us that we have a mention among all those new messages.
At a glance we will see the number of messages that the participants of a group have sent and if it is an important conversation in which they have mentioned us to force us to participate and that we do not give our opinion on whatever topic. An option for erase the superficial and focus on the important when we are in a hurry.
There is no exact date to launch this feature, beta users can now update the application and put the novelty to the test. The rest will have to wait for WhatsApp to launch the update with this and other news in all countries.
