TRIBUNNEWS.COM – President of the United States, Joe Biden will attract U.S. troops at Afghanistan on September 11, U.S. officials said on Tuesday (13/4/2021).
“After a rigorous policy review, President Biden has decided to withdraw the remaining troops in Afghanistan and finally end the US war there after 20 years,” a senior government official told reporters. Al Jazeera.
The date of the troop withdrawal, was precisely the 20th anniversary of the Al-Qaeda attack on the United States, which sparked war in Afghanistan.
Earlier, Biden hinted that he would replace the May 1 deadline which was the result of Donald Trump’s negotiations with Taliban.
Because withdrawing 2,500 troops would be difficult and potentially dangerous.
