According to the social authorities, a total of 66,195 people in the Hanseatic city have tested positive for the corona virus since the pandemic began. According to estimates by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), around 56,800 people in Hamburg can now be considered recovered.
Incidence value falls
The number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in the past seven days is now 140.9. It was the first decrease in three days of increasing incidence.

More people affected in the hospital
According to the social welfare authority, 321 corona patients are being treated in Hamburg’s hospitals, 24 more than last. More than a third of them – namely 113 patients – are in intensive care units. According to the RKI, 1,412 people have died in connection with Covid 19 in the Hanseatic city since the beginning of the pandemic. This number has not changed compared to Monday.
