According to the president, the invitation was signed by John Kerry, Secretary of State in the second term of Barak Obama. The virtual meeting will be attended by world leaders, as well as mayors and scientists to address issues related to the Democrat’s green agenda.

Sheinbaum Pardo assured that in this summit his participation will focus on the role of cities in climate change policy and the actions that have to be developed from the local to the global.

The event where the head of government will attend is Leaders Summit on Climate 2021, which will take place on April 22.
