Xiaomi is working on three new premium tablets

Jakarta, Selular.ID – Xiaomi has regularly released tablet devices. The last series came out in 2018 when it launched the Mi Pad 4 lineup. This series boasts a mid-range Snapdragon 660 and a competitive price tag. Now, it looks like the company is working on a new tablet series.

A leak from the Xiaomiui Telegram Group reports that Xiaomi has at least three tablet models in the works. It has model numbers K81, K81A, and K82, along with the obvious code names Enuma, Elish, and Nabu, respectively. It is unclear if this is the Mi Pad 5 series or will be given a new naming.

All three are predicted to offer a quad rear camera setup (main / ultra-wide / macro / depth), wireless charging, quad speaker, NFC, and a 120Hz IPS LCD display.

The K81 and K81A seem to be the most impressive devices, supposedly offering the Snapdragon 870 chipset. This will be a huge upgrade for the Xiaomi tablet series, offering flagship power, distinct from mid-range chips. Apart from that, the K81 is also said to offer a 48MP camera while the K81A offers a 12MP sensor.

The K82 model seems to differ from the other two devices by presenting the Snapdragon 860 chipset, which is still a sharp upgrade from the Mi Pad 4 series. It is also thought to offer a 12MP sensor.
