20 Years After Its Original Release, Blizzard Shows “Diablo II” Remastering Trailers

Ironically we can say that the players of the video game saga “Diablo” were given the “miracle”, since according to the announcements that have been published on social networks and specialized sites, the remastering of the iconic game “Diablo II” company Blizzard is going from strength to strength.

While the fourth numbered installment of the video game saga is still in development, Blizzard decided last Friday to make a preview – also known as Technical Alpha – of its next launch. Diablo II: Resurrected.

The YouTuber Cycu1 has already uploaded a video in which you can see the graphic differences of the game. The result is amazing.

The Alpha test that was focused on the game’s solo mode and that covered the first two acts of the campaign of Diablo II: Resurrected for the PC platform, they realized the general graphical improvements that the whole game has had.

Diablo II: Resurrected is expected to be available this year for the PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, and Nintendo Switch platforms, offering an updated view that includes better graphics, better sound, and design tweaks.

One of the novelties that the game brings is that the games of the original game published more than 20 years ago can be transferred.

With that being the case, Blizzard is also joining the current movement to remaster classic video games from the late 90s and early 2000s on more robust technology platforms.

It is worth remembering that other iconic games that have been remastered are Resident Evil II, Final Fantasy VII, Crash Bandicoot, and recently Age of Empires IV.
