A local activist held a flash mob with the flags of the Russian Federation and Ukraine, timed to coincide with the 7th anniversary of the capture of Slavyansk in 2014.

In Slavyansk, Donetsk region, today, on April 12, during a session of the city council, the activist held a flash mob with the flag of the Russian Federation. This is reported by the edition Business Slavyansk.

“Today, April 12, during the plenary meeting of the 6th session of the city council in Slavyansk, local activist Vasily Khomenko held a flash mob timed to coincide with the 7th anniversary of the capture of Slavyansk in 2014,” the message says.

The activist used two flags – Russia and Ukraine. According to the activist, the main purpose of this flash mob was “to draw attention to the ongoing hostilities and so that the situation of 2014 does not repeat itself in Sloviansk in the future.”

A few minutes later, policemen appeared in the hall of the City Council and carried the Russian flag out of the session hall. In the hall of the City Council, the police drew up a report on the violation against the activist.
