The reggaeton and Cuban rapper El Micha has become the cover of the Amazon Music platform for the category of “Made in Cuba”, As a result of his latest topic “A dream”.
“Thank you, Amazon Music Latin America for having us on the cover of Made in Cuba with A dream. Go listen to this playlist with the best of Cuba, “wrote the Cuban musician from his Instagram account.
The Micha launched A dream at the end of last March. It is about a musical theme in favor of “change”, “freedom” and the end of “repression” that exists in Cuba, with a communist government that for more than 60 years has maintained power.
“I am going to use what my people gave me to speak for them: my VOICE, my TALENT and my PLATFORM. In my way, because FREEDOM of expression is not forced, it is FREE, as each one of Cubans should be, ”said El Micha hours before the release of the song, which has been very well received by his followers.
The piece has very forceful stanzas and uses the “more urban” sound with which Micha began his career in the world of rap, to later venture into reggaeton.
“They take me off that list,
I’m Michael aka El Micha
I am neither a politician nor a communist.
What I do I do it alone and without a showgirl.
This goes to newspapers and magazines
If you don’t come to contribute, don’t even get dressed
A change is needed and Cuba is ready ”.
