The circumstances of the brawl are still very unclear. The only certainty: it did not go unnoticed, near the Bouffay tram stop, in this lively district of Nantes. It was around 4 p.m. on Friday, April 9, when a fight broke out between two groups of people, who seem to know each other.
Four men were injured in the scuffle, along with a fifth, a resting police official who tried to intervene to protect a victim. The latter suffered minor head injuries.
Wounded with a blade
A man was injured with a blade, presenting several slashes in the chest that required sixteen stitches. Another victim was injured in the jaw. The five wounded, however, quickly emerged from the CHU.
Three minors were arrested after the brawl. Their custody was lifted on Saturday April 10, but they could be heard again by the police. A preliminary investigation has been opened. The estimate of the ITTs (total incapacity for work) of the victims is expected next week.
Saturday, at the end of the afternoon, another brawl took place in the middle of the street, Beauséjour district this time. Two young men were transported to the CHU with wounds made with a blade.
