With the development of EA Dice’s upcoming Battlefield title underway, rumors about the upcoming war shooter game have been flying thick and fast lately.
The latest rumor, tweeted once again by well-known Battlefield leaker Tom Henderson and picked up by TweakTown, claims that the next game in the series will feature robotic attack dogs as part of your arsenal.
This is just the beginning. In #BATTLEFIELD, the dog is more like a Boston Dynamics Mule who can run very fast and potentially has a gun. But it looks like it could be a new type of vehicle rather than a device. https://t.co/kx1903T8od April 10, 2021

Henderson tweeted that his robot attack dog will be “more like the Boston Dynamics Mule who can run very fast and potentially has a gun,” and that “it looks like it could be a new type of vehicle rather than a device.”
The leaker recently made headlines with claims that Battlefield 6 is cross-gen and will feature 128-player maps, will be set in the near future, and will hit Xbox Game Pass on day one.
As with any rumor, we advise you to take these leaks with a pinch of salt. That said, if any of this information turns out to be accurate, we could be looking at the most exciting installment of Battlefield in years.
Currently, Battlefield 6 is believed to be officially revealed in May and is on track for its release in late 2021.
