???????????? Superb gold medal for the sculls at the European Rowing Championships (Matthieu Androdias & Hugo Boucheron). The only medal for an Olympic boat in Varese. Undoubtedly the boat on which will rest almost all the hopes of podium at #Tokyo2020. #rowing pic.twitter.com/zFMrvJ00z3

Start of the season with a bang
They have done strong since their arrival in Italy. The two license holders of the Cercle d’Aviron de Lyon, world champions in 2018, won on the Varese lake after a disputed race. But in the end, the Lyon pair hit the end of their hull with more than two seconds ahead of the Dutch title holders at the finish line.
Our Lyon rowers from CAL @HugoBoucheron and @matt_androdias are EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS ???????? after a magnificent race in the final. They are ahead of the reigning Dutch champions and the English boat. A huge congratulations to our 2 rowers who are preparing the best for the next Olympics ???? pic.twitter.com/wCW8CPRyHy
