Jakarta – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) formed the Task Force for Handling State Receivables and Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance (BLBI). Director General of State Assets of the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) Rionald Silaban was appointed as the Head of the Task Force.
The rules regarding the membership of this Task Force are contained in Presidential Decree Number 6 of 2021 concerning the Task Force for Handling State Claims and Rights Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance (BLBI) sas seen, Sunday (11/4/2021). The regulation was signed by Jokowi on April 6, 2021.

Duties of the Director
a. formulating strategic policies in the context of accelerating the handling and restoration of state collection rights and Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance assets;
b. integrate and determine the steps for implementing strategic policies and breakthroughs needed in order to accelerate the handling and restoration of state collection rights and assets of Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance;
c. provide direction to the executor in accelerating the handling and restoration of state collection rights and assets of Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance; and
d. monitoring and evaluating the implementation of accelerated handling and restoration of state collection rights and Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance assets

Executing Duties
a. carry out an inventory and mapping of state receivables and property assets of Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance;
b. implementing strategic policies, mitigation measures as well as breakthroughs required in the context of handling and restoring state collection rights and property assets for Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance;
c. in the event that it is necessary to overcome problems requiring breakthroughs in the context of resolving the handling and restoration of state collection rights and property assets of Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance, submitting recommendations for new policy making to the Steering Committee;
d. take legal and / or other measures that are effective and efficient for the settlement, handling and restoration of state collection rights and property assets for Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance;
e. increasing the synergy of policy making between ministries / agencies; and
f. coordinate and take steps to enforce the law in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations.
