Last February, the country regained the top spot on the list of US trading partners, after months in which China was in that same position, according to information from the US Bureau of Statistics, the Census Bureau.
Canada is in second place, followed by:

- Ireland
In the report for the second month of this 2021, Mexico had a commercial exchange with the American Union 15.3% of all imports and exports carried out in the US market, Canada 14.9% and China with 13.7%.
Only in the first two months of the year, the country exported 56 thousand 469 million dollars to the neighboring country of the North and imported American merchandise for 40 thousand 529 million dollars.

From January to February of last year, Mexico’s exports to the US increased to 57 thousand 389 million dollars and imports 40 thousand 231 million dollars, which indicates that the exports of the first two months of the year were lower than those of 2020.
In the first two months of the current year, Canada exported to the US market 49 thousand 757 million dollars and imported 43 thousand 519 million dollars.
