Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz said that negotiations with Russia over the purchase of a vaccine against coronavirus have come to an end. Now the purchase of the drug is possible for Vienna.
Purchasing a million doses of the Russian drug would speed up vaccinations in Austria, Kurz said.
Earlier, the director of the Gamaleya Center, Alexander Gintsburg, said that people who were vaccinated with the Russian vaccine could develop lifelong immunity. He added that the vaccine can act “not for a year or two, but for life.”
