Vaccination extended to other health workers in Abitibi-Témiscamingue

These are workers from the health and social services network who were not targeted by phase 1 and those who are not part of the teams of the Abitibi-Témiscamingue Integrated Health and Social Services Center.

This includes employees of dental clinics, family medicine groups, pharmacies, psychology, optometry, physiotherapy, hearing care professionals and also technical staff.

The CISSS also asks community workers in close contact with high-risk patients, such as street workers in mental health, homelessness and drug addiction, to make an appointment for vaccination.

When making the appointment, proof of employment will be required.

The latest report shows 27,300 doses of vaccines administered in the region.
