A 46-year-old woman died after being beaten in the capital. The man with whom she lived on a family basis has been detained, BNR reports.
The woman was found helpless on April 8 in an apartment in the capital’s Benkovski district. A little later, it became clear that she had died as a result of a beating, and traces of violence were found on her body.
Children beat and robbed two women in Vratsa region
Police have already detained a 57-year-old man in the case. He lived on a family basis with the victim and is suspected of committing a serious crime. The detainee is currently being held for up to 72 hours by a prosecutor.
On social media, the murdered woman’s brother reported that his sister had been a victim of systematic harassment and violence without the right to medical care.

The Second District Police Department in Sofia is working on the case under the supervision of the prosecutor’s office. It is not clear whether the victim has filed complaints and signals of harassment and violence with the police so far.
FOCUS News Agency clarified that the body of the deceased was transported to Forensic Medicine, where traces of violence were found.
