KINSHASA, iNews.id – A total of 40 passengers were roasted alive after the bus they were traveling in flipped and caught fire, Friday (9/4/2021). This tragic event took place in the Democratic Republic Congo.
Governor Kwilu Willy Itshundala said, deadly accident it happened near Kiwawa Village, about 6 hours drive to the capital city of Kinshasa, Congo.
Bus passengers, said Willy, were roasted alive after the bus they were on flipped on fire in Kwilu Province, the western region of the country on the African continent.
“Of the 31 people who survived, nine were seriously injured. (The victims were burned alive) almost no one can be recognized,” Itshundala said, quoted by Reuters.
Meanwhile, videos circulating on social media show that it was not only the bus that caught fire, but also other vehicles beside it. It is suspected that the other vehicle contained a driver and passengers.
