The health situation is still worrying in the Dordogne. Three people died from the coronavirus in hospital according to Public Health France this Friday, April 9. The toll is therefore 178 deaths since March 1, 2020. 149 people are still hospitalized, that’s six more in 24 hours. 17 are in intensive care, that’s four less in one day.
The department remains on high alert with an incidence rate of 251 cases per 100,000 inhabitants screened over one week. On average, 146 cases of coronavirus are therefore tested positive every day in the department. A figure in sharp decline (the incidence rate was 315 cases per 100,000 a few days before) but which can be explained by the very low number of tests carried out during the Easter weekend.
