According to the Vienna convention on diplomatic relations, ambassadorial duties officially end after the host country is notified.
The British Foreign Office confirmed that it had received notification of the dismissal of Kyaw Zwar Minn, saying it “must accept the decisions taken by the Myanmar regime”.
The foreign affairs spokesperson for the Labor Party, Lisa Nandy, demanded that Dominic Raab, the foreign minister, have to explain why the government accepted the dismissal of the Myanmar ambassador.
