Taghi and his lawyer will interrogate crown witness Nabil B. | Inland

Partly due to the statements of ‘regret’ B., the big liquidation case around Taghi has started rolling. Another important piece of evidence is a huge load of decrypted messages openly talking about liquidations and other criminal activities.

In recent court days, there have already been considerable confrontations between Taghi and the crown witness. Taghi called B. a “pathological liar” and a “dreamer.” According to B., the two used to be close acquaintances and they had “a click” with each other. Taghi firmly denied that. “I don’t know this man. Do you know my family, do we have each other’s phone numbers, have we ever gone somewhere with the car? We are dealing with a liar here. ”

On Monday, suspect Mohamed R. and his lawyer will question the star witness. R. and the crown witness used to be good friends, but nothing remains of that friendship. The curses flew back and forth during previous sessions. R. also believes that Nabil B. is lying.

The Marengo sampling process is expected to last well into 2022. In total there are seventeen suspects. Co-prime suspect Saïd R. is still in Colombia, where he was arrested at the beginning of last year. He is in custody awaiting extradition.
