When you make some of the best sports cars in the world, you can’t help but test them in advance. This is exactly the case with the new Porsche 911 GT3, which, as we told you, starts from 333 thousand levs in Bulgaria and can reach nearly half a million.
The German company revealed some details about the tests that the two-door coupe went through before it was presented to the general public. One of them involves continuous driving at a speed of 300 km / h over a distance of 5000 km, as the only breaks are when stopping to charge the car.
Of course, the samples were taken on a closed track with a length of 23 km in a Porsche test center. A simple calculation shows that these are over 217 laps, and the 4.0-liter boxer that drives the GT3 has worked for over 16 hours. In addition to these tests in a car, the engine itself has undergone many more tests on various stands outside the car.
