The city of Würzburg is awarding the Antonio Petrini Prize 2021 under the motto “Excellent architecture in our city? 25 years of the Antonio Petrini Prize”. You can apply for this award until April 13th, according to the press release.
As part of this competition, priority should be given to further aspects of the architecture of urban development and the environment, which in the future could be exemplary for similar buildings, explains the city.
However, there is news about the procedure: As an exception, the announcement finds already in spring and not ?? as usual? not until autumn. Another novelty is that in addition to the well-known Petrini Prize, the city of Würzburg will also be sufficient to receive a small cash prize as endowment and recognition.
Supported by the Main-Post
In this sense, the competition honors newly constructed buildings within the scope of the city of Würzburg, which ?? regardless of size and financial commitment ?? meet special architectural requirements and meet the desire for a better urban design in Würzburg.
The competition, which was announced by the city of Würzburg and has meanwhile received considerable attention from building owners and architects as well as the general public, is now being supported by Main-Post since 1996 for the 13th time and is actively promoted by Informationszentrum Beton GmbH.
As in previous years, according to the press release, this year there will be a special price for special construction projects in addition to the usual building topics. Under the motto “Groundbreaking project in the field of ecological and sustainable building”, particularly ambitious builders who are committed to ecological building are to be addressed.
