Schiedam – The first vaccination with the Pfizer corona vaccine was taken this morning in the Schiedam Groenoordhal. From now on, the GGD will vaccinate here seven days a week.
The honor of the first shot in Schiedam fell to 74-year-old Schiedammer Steenbergen. Today the GGD will put around 650 to 700 injections in Schiedam. As soon as more vaccines are available, all 10 streets will be put into use and this location can put 1000 vaccinations per day.
