This operation will run from April 12 to September.
A redevelopment of the main streets of the LyonTech La Doua campus is underway and continues. Work began on April 12 on the Porte Einstein sector (INSA-Einstein tram station), after work on avenue Pierre de Coubertin, boulevard Niels Bohr and rue des Sports.
Several objectives
The program for this redevelopment will create a new access to the campus between rue des Sports and avenue Albert-Einstein. The current access opposite the rue des Antonins, at the level of the tram station, becomes 100% soft modes (pedestrians and cycles). The program is to experiment with dynamic LED signaling.
During the work, tram, bus, pedestrian, bicycle and car access and circulation, as well as access to buildings and car parks will be maintained. To maintain safety, users are asked to follow the detours and signs in place. Part of the work will take place at night on the tram tracks, to intervene in the absence of passage.
Experimentation with bright and dynamic ground marking
The Métropole de Lyon is testing, with the Colas company, a new type of signage in front of the Einstein entrance: The Flowell®, which is a dynamic luminous floor marking.
The objectives of the device are to improve safety for cyclists when crossing the tram tracks. The experiment will last 2 years. If the device proves effective, the Flowell® could be made sustainable.
