Lenovo Releases New Legion Gaming Laptop, Supported by AMD Ryzen 5000 Series

JawaPos.com – Given the rapid development of the gaming industry and content creation, Lenovo Indonesia took part by introducing the latest Legion gaming laptop. This new device is claimed to not only offer enhanced performance and power for a capable gaming experience, but also a great engine for professionals to do creative work such as design, photos, video editing, and data analysis.

The two latest Legion gaming laptops released by Lenovo in Indonesia, namely the Legion 5 Pro and Legion 7. For reliability in the gaming and other computing sectors, the two new Legion series use AMD Ryzen 5000 series processors.

Hendry Lim, Lenovo Indonesia’s 4P & T1 Consumer Notebook said, these two laptops are not only intended for gaming, but also content creation, which is considered to be increasingly rapid industrial development in Indonesia. Therefore, these two new Lenovo laptops are also suitable for professional creative workers, especially for design, photos, video processing, and other heavy areas.

“In today’s hybrid working system, the previously clear differences between work and gaming are fading away. Therefore, it is now more important to have devices that meet the needs of work and gaming, ”he said.

Starting with the Legion 7, these laptops are said to have been designed with aerospace-grade aluminum in Storm Gray color and are equipped with processors up to Ryzen 9 5900HX and GPUs up to RTX 3080.

For visual needs, this laptop screen uses a 16 inch IPS panel with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels, a refresh rate of 165 Hz, 500 nits of brightness, and a 16:10 ratio. This panel is compatible with Nvidia G-Sync to provide a variable refresh rate. Other standards on this screen are 100 percent sRGB, HDR 400, and Dolby Vision.

For the innards themselves that process the performance of this device, the Legion 7 comes with 32 GB DDR4 3200 MHz RAM and 2 TB NVMe PCIe SSD. The cooling system is Coldfront 3.0 which is claimed to be able to maintain the temperature of the laptop when used to play games.

The Legion 7 is sold with prices starting at Rp. 32 million, and includes the Legion Gaming Headset H300, M500 gaming mouse, and Legion Armored Backpack worth Rp. 2.8 million. There’s also Microsoft Office Home & Student 2019 included.

As for the more affordable Legion 5 Pro, this series which is also Lenovo’s flagship gaming laptop with a 16-inch screen comes with a combination of processors up to Ryzen 7 5800H and GPU RTX 3070. For visuals this laptop comes with an IPS screen with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels. 16:10, G-Sync and 165 Hz refresh rate.

As a laptop that will work hard, the Legion 5 Pro comes with a Coldfront 3.0 cooling system complete with TrueStrike keyboard and 4 zone RGB. The webcam is equipped with an e-shutter to secure user privacy. This laptop is sold for IDR 26 million, and includes an H300 headset, M300 mouse, Legion Recon Backpack. Also included is Microsoft Office Home & Student 2019.
