Aneka Tambang (ANTM) allocates 35% of net profit as dividends

KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) will distribute 35% of its net profit as cash dividends to shareholders. This decision was taken at the annual general meeting of shareholders (AGMS) which was held on Wednesday (7/4) in Jakarta.

Last year, this state-owned company posted a net profit of Rp 1.15 trillion. With assumption dividen payout ratio ANTM is 35% of net profit, so the total dividend of ANTM for the 2020 financial year is IDR 345 billion.

SVP Corporate Secretary Aneka Tambang Kunto Hendrapawoko said the dividend decision was in accordance with the dividend distribution policy stated in the ANTM prospectus, where the company distributed at least 30% dividends.

“Regarding dividends, it is ANTM’s policy to distribute cash dividends at least once a year while still paying attention to financial health and without reducing shareholder rights,” Kunto explained to the media crew after the AGMS, Wednesday (7/4).

The shareholder structure of ANTM as of March 31, 2021 consists of MIND ID of 15.62 billion, the public as much as 8.4 billion, with a total of 24 billion outstanding shares. Accordingly, then dividend per share ANTM at Rp 14.37 per share.

At the close of the first session today, ANTM shares fell 1.29% to the level of Rp 2,300. Using the latest price assumptions, ANTM’s estimated dividend yield is 0.62%.
