The registration for the residual doses of the COVID-19 vaccine takes place through the regional state administration, the deputy minister said.
Ukrainians who signed up for a coronavirus vaccination through the Diya e-service and who are not at risk are not invited to be vaccinated with residual doses, because the queue at Diya is only a waiting list for their vaccination stage. This was announced on Tuesday, April 6, by the chief sanitary doctor of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko in a comment Ukrainian truth.
“Signing up through Diya is not a question of vaccination with residual doses, but a question of vaccination in accordance with the Roadmap. A waiting list is formed in Diya, and when a stage comes for a person who signed up for a waiting list, he is given priority for vaccination,” he explained.
So, Lyashko explained that, for example, 2,300 Ukrainians aged 80+ have signed up on the waiting list at Diya, who are eligible for the second stage of vaccination. Of these, 652 people have already been transferred to the direct vaccination queue, a certain part have already been vaccinated.
At the same time, he stressed that the registration for the residual doses of the COVID-19 vaccine occurs through the regional state administration.
“Those wishing to be vaccinated should contact their Regional State Administration, which may already have a form on the website, or send it to the regional coordinator, with whom you can sign up,” Lyashko said.
