While restaurants in the US are slowly returning to normal capacities, companies are hiring more employees. Several chains announced hiring promotions last month in response to growing demand.

The trend is also reflected in the latest recruitment figures for the Bureau of Labor Statistics contrary. 176,000 new jobs were created in restaurants and bars in March, and more than 300,000 in February. Despite the month-on-month slowdown, the hospitality industry topped the US labor market report in March and had the largest gain of any industry.
Although US unemployment remains high and restaurants are looking for new employees in the face of increased demand, many companies appear to be struggling to find suitable employees.
