Slavi’s party cut short the BSP’s aspirations for a coalition – Politika

After it became clear that the formations entering the new parliament began to pour offers to Slavi Trifonov’s party “There is such a people”. The BSP even announced that in the name of ousting GERB and Boyko Borissov from power, it is willing to support the cabinet of “There is such a people”.

“We keep our word. The BSP can say whatever they want, but we will not form a coalition with them,” commented Toshko Yordanov, a screenwriter and candidate.

Yordanov added that they are waiting for the final results of the parliamentary vote, then the National Assembly should be convened, etc.

“We will follow the steps that are regulated,” he added to the newspaper Sega. And he reaffirmed his words from the election night – without bargaining and coalitions with GERB and MRF.

From “There is such a people” they leave open for talks for future government only to “Democratic Bulgaria” and “Stand up! Get out!”.

DP co-chairman Hristo Ivanov said the situation was unclear at the moment and that it was “too early to make any announcements” for coalition talks. “No one knows what answers. In no way support for the management of GERB and MRF. As well as the BSP,” Ivanov said, emphasizing that the three parties fall into different categories.

According to him, if it does not work out with Slavi Trifonov and he returns the second mandate to form a government, it would be impossible for the right-wing union to support the mandate of the BSP.
